How awesome is it to wake up bright and early on this 大年初一 (1st day of the Lunar New Year)!
Wishing all of you a BIG FAT PROSPEROUS Year of the Tiger, BEAMING WITH HEALTH!
I look forward to everything good to happen to me, to you, and your families!
And a little tidbit to share with all of you… The Chinese Zodiac forecast. The article says, “Drama, intensity, change and travel will be the keywords for 2010.” Definitely worth looking forward to!

I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s fond of googling people… It’s quite fun to google your boss, your ex-boss, a potential date, your ex, your best friend’s boyfriend, etc…
And what do you find when you google yourself?
A recent incident has prompted me to write this. Our online footprint can make or break us, especially this industry we’re in, most of us are very Google-savvy. It takes very little to do a background check. It can get really scary…
I try to be very careful, I don’t use any real names here or most of my online properties… *Ahem, @BigBert, untag me from one of your posts please*
You can try to clean it up, but some just that you just can’t fix, especially those from spiteful exes, or someone whose toes you stepped on some time back, or that unfortunate customer whom you happened to serve on your lousy day…
You don’t want your potential employer or date to find someone dishing out dirt about you… So bottom line, do not do unto others what you don’t want to happen on yourself.

The running track that is…
Joined the iRun group at Raffles Promenade for the first time today, and am impressed at how well-organised the group is! I didn’t know this was a HPB initiative until I came home to google. I always thought this was conducted by Team FatBird. Not wrong still, I think the volunteer marshalls are from the Team.
The marshalls at various turning points keeps our time in check, motivating us along the way… And I’m very fortunate to have met a nice lady whom I can pace with for me to keep us with. I’m really thankful for her, otherwise I would have fell back to my usual run-walk pattern. I actually completed the 5km route in 35mins! Way faster than my usual pace…
The icing on the cake was dinner at Santouka in good company! Hehehe…

Many of us finds the number THIRTEEN a major taboo, while some just likes such oddity.
Interestingly, mahjong is very much associated to THIRTEEN…
Keeping THIRTEEN tiles at the start of each round.
And the winning set, THIRTEEN wonders???, if that’s what it’s called….
Especially coveted, though its one of the hardest set to get, all disjoint tiles… it wins BIG!
Let’s go in a round and share what’s your favourite number…
Twenty-two is mine.
Even number, and it’s my birthday. Though it adds up to 4…
Ok guys… Come share share…
P/S: This post is dedicated you whom I’ve promised to be your funeral planner, and you who also favours the number 13.

Was over a Zouk Winebar on Friday night for a smallish farewell party. What really caught my eye wasn’t any cute boys, not to speak of in fact, but the coasters from breathe.sg.

Ever since cutting back on drinks, I’m put off by the antics of some drinkers/drunkards… Getting sloshed is UGLY. I try not to remind myself of those silly drunkards I saw over at ZoukOut.
Drinking is fine, as long as you know when to stop. No point trying to act hero by drinking everyone else under the table… Who’s the one to look silly at the end of the day??
What drink to chase away sorrow? Bollocks! I have learnt, never go out to drink if I’m feeling upset, don’t even bother going out, just stay home and sulk away. Drink when you’re in a jolly mood – celebrations, catch up, chill out, networking. But NEVER NEVER drink when you’re feeling down, it’ll only make you feel more worst.
It’s a revelation that many of us only come to realize when we’re older… Some of us are luckier than others, damages could be done to our body without knowing, only to affect us when we’re older.
Take heart, take care of yourselves now, so that you need not be a burden to your love ones in the later years.
Only if I can say the same of my other vice… That’s a real toughie…

I love Wordpress Stats… I can’t emphasize enough how much I love stats… It shows me what are you guys reading… And where visitors come from.
My favourite ia search engine terms. Yesterday someone searched for Mambo 5 Pub Boat Quay.

Man! That was so long ago… I wonder who’s looking for it… I tried it myself, my blog’s not in the first 3 pages of the search results page… I gave up looking…

Well well, festivities are officially over… Time to hit the keyboard and get work re-started again after a 2 weeks hiatus.
What have I achieved in my career in 2009? I became richer, richer in life, not monetary.
I jumped out from one of Asia’s most experienced digital agency into a small shop in bid of expanding my exposure. The opportunity allowed me flexibility in work arrangement, where I work from home most days, thus having the ability to spend time with the family and helping to run odd errands.
I’ve been given the opportunity to work on an event which definitely works out well for me. It’s my first, and I sure learnt a lot from it.
In this new year, I hope to be able to work on a few more events, while balancing my digital portfolio. We sure hope to increase the quality of the digital work that comes out of us.
Alritey, need to hit the sack and wake up fresh for a brand new work year… My TDL from last year still has outstanding items yet to be crossed out.
Toodles!

In preparation of the new year ahead, in the morning of the last day of 2009, I shuffled my work area a little.
Previously, I had my work desk facing the wall, with my back to the door. According to Feng Shui, the work desk should be diagonally across from the door/entrance to the room.
Since I was giving my house a last wipe down, I took the opportunity to do some slight rearrangement.

The rest of the room remained unchanged, I only moved my work desk around. Not visible in the photo, I placed a carpet to mark out the work area, this way, it becomes a visual separation between work and rest.
For those of you who’s visited my place, what do you think of this arrangement?
Let’s hope this new layout helps improve some aspects of my life, in the name of Feng Shui. But at the end of the day, I look upon the good Lord.

Happy Twenty-TEN!!!
It was indeed a good idea to stay away from the hustle and bustle of town this NYE, tucked away in a nice quiet estate in the west with a small group of friends. Boring as it may seem, it’s afterall a small family affair, amongst cousins, besides me who has shamelessly tagged along.
So, what’s in store in 2010??? I’m so looking forward. As I’ve told a friend of mine, my 2 resolutions… One seems rather far-fetched. Even trying to get to the first step seems unfathomable, so much for wishing for blue skies…
Thank you Mrs Low for introducing me your funny family, it’s been a fun hanging out with the bunch, and I’m in love with your family… Tell Mrs Lee don’t fret too much, even though her Miss Lee has been abducted by the another family, she has found a daughter in me. *being shameless here…*
I trust in the good Lord that he has plans for me, for planting seeds along the way…
Once again, I’m thankful for all of you, who has loved me and accepted me for I am. For the tolerance you have towards my nonsense and irrational moments.
Happy New Year! Onward to PERFECT TEN!
