Usually when Dad has a day off, we’ll usually go do something and have dinner together.
Since I was already in Orchard, we decided to check out Orchard Central, the new kid that’s just opened opposite Centrepoint. Right now, probably only about 30% of the stores are open.
It was really spacious, very ‘airy’, with greens are placed in the space along with generous sitting areas. I’m guessing the seating areas could be temporary to fill the void before all the stores are open.
We took the lift up to the 6th floor and saw the indoor rock-climbing wall. Probably the first and highest indoors wall in a city mall. I got to speak Andy, the Chief Mountain Guide from BorderX, the guys behind the concept. Their charges are pretty reasonable, no more than $35 per pax for 1.5 to 2hr blocks with a guide.
BearyJ how? Wanna try? Got group discount also
I’m already thinking of what events can we do here.
The interiors of the building is very spacious, high ceilings are always good. Each cluster has different concepts, ground floor’s the Discovery Walk, 2nd and 3rd is The Runway, 6th is The Ramp, etc… I can be sure, this building is wheelchair friendly!

As with many of us, we love checking out the toilets of new buildings. They sure didn’t disappoint. I especially love the cubicle where they installed a baby seat for mothers to place their kids in.
